These karabiners are mightier than they appear – weighing in at a tiny 8g, but capable of supporting up to 400kg in weight. Part of our SuperLight range, these will create next to no extra packing weight - so you can take them anywhere, and rely on them for just about anything. Handy and easy to use. The design of the DD SuperLight Karabiners means they also act as a drip-stop, preventing water running down towards your hammock from your suspension cord. Secure quick-release latches mean you can expect to set up your gear with them in no time. Please make sure the 'gate' is closed when using - failure to do so can damage/break the karabiner. Tested to support up to 400kg, 8g and 5.5cm long, in expertly-crafted lightweight aluminium – made in the UK. Note: These are not suitable for climbing, where a weight limit of several thousand kg is advisable.
